YMCA extends partnership with the City of Charles Sturt

YMCA South Australia (the Y) is proud to announce the extension of its successful partnership with the City of Charles Sturt, continuing the management of the St Clair Recreation Centre for a further 10 years.

”The St Clair Recreation Centre holds a special place in our community and we are thrilled to continue our long-term relationship with YMCA South Australia,” City of Charles Sturt CEO Paul Sutton shared.

Since its launch in 2018, the St Clair Recreation Centre has become a flagship venue in Adelaide, welcoming 500,000 visitors annually and generating over $1 million in social value last financial year.

"Together with the City of Charles Sturt, we’ve had six years of success at St Clair and are excited at the opportunities for continued growth and innovation over the next ten years. We have several exciting initiatives planned to improve customer experience and reduce environmental impact," said Andrew Mundy, Acting CEO of YMCA South Australia.

“This partnership reflects our values as a Council to align with a local South Australian not-for-profit organisation that has the best interests of the community and our sporting clubs at heart,” added Paul Sutton.

YMCA South Australia would like to thank the City of Charles Sturt for their ongoing support and continued commitment towards supporting a local not-for-profit. In addition to receiving best-in-class facility management, choosing the Y also means all proceeds are reinvested into improving the health and wellness of local communities in South Australia.
