THE ROLE
Thebarton Aquatic Centre, proudly owned by the Department for Education and managed by YMCA South Australia, is a hub for learning, community engagement, and recreation. With a strong commitment to educational outcomes, swimming lessons, and community sporting initiatives, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as a YMCA Swim Teacher.
As a YMCA Swim Teacher, you will play a key role in the success of our Swimming Lessons Program, ensuring participants of all ages and abilities receive top-quality, safe, and engaging instruction. You will foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment in your classes and work collaboratively within a dedicated team.
We are looking for Swim Teachers who are committed to delivering professional, high-quality swimming lessons in line with our philosophies, and whom are passionate about creating a positive and educational experience for all participants.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have or be willing to obtain:
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Swim Australia Teacher accreditation or equivalent.
- HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent.
- RRHAN-EC Masterclass – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care.
