THE ROLE
The Valleys Lifestyle Centre is a dynamic and vibrant community hub located in the heart of the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Offering a range of facilities and programs designed to promote health, fitness, and wellbeing, our centre is committed to providing exceptional services to individuals and families of all ages. With a strong focus on aquatic programs, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality swimming lessons in a supportive and friendly environment. We are now looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a YMCA Swim Teacher.
As a YMCA Swim Teacher, you will play a key role in the success of our Swimming Lessons Program, ensuring participants of all ages and abilities receive top-quality, safe, and engaging instruction. You will foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment in your classes and work collaboratively within a dedicated team.
We are looking for Swim Teachers who are committed to delivering professional, high-quality swimming lessons in line with our philosophies, and whom are passionate about creating a positive and educational experience for all participants. Please note, due to availability of shifts, candidates must be able to work weekends.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- Weekend Availability (Required)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Swim Australia Teacher accreditation or equivalent
- HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent
- Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” (RRHAN-EC) Training
The above qualifications (including AUSTSWIM) are not required at time of application, however, candidates must be willing to obtain the qualifications later.
