THE ROLE

Deliver fun, interactive, engaging, and safe classes as a YMCA SA Gymnastics Coach!

Our adaptable approach to classes ensures a rewarding gymnastics pathway for a variety of ages and abilities, instilling important life skills such as confidence, coordination, creativity and discipline.

As a Gymnastics Coach you will:

  • Deliver a variety of Gym Sports Programs with professionalism and care
  • Develop techniques and skills of participants
  • Be responsible for the safety of participants and equipment during programs
  • Provide excellent customer service to children and parents
  • Be involved in technical skills development as a Coach
  • Support and encourage other coaches

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
  • Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership
  • Gym Sports Coaching Accreditation – Gymnastics South Australia
    • Level 1 – Beginner Accreditation
    • Level 2 – Intermediate Accreditation
    • Level 3 – Advanced Accreditation
  • Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN) training
