YMCA of South Australia Celebrates it's 160FIRST Birthday!

The YMCA of South Australia is this State’s FIRST community organisation. Established in 1850, they are also the FIRST YMCA in Australia, and the First YMCA established outside London where the YMCA was founded in 1844 by George Williams.  

The Y has been serving the South Australian and Australian community for 161 years and it is appropriate that it celebrates its 160FIRST birthday around the theme of ‘firsts’.

Y Day Options Program

Y Day Options is a day activities program for school leavers and young adults with a disability and minimal to low support needs. Y Day Options programs are made up of hands-on recreational, educational and life skills activities that teach skills for an active, healthy and inclusive life.
